Privacy and data practices
Privacy Policy
Watch Leaks maintains defined practices for handling website information, visitor preferences, and optional communications.
Updated November 4, 2026
Website operations and analytics
Watch Leaks is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostics to operate and protect the website. Vercel Web Analytics supports aggregated statistics about site use, including page views and general device or location information.
According to Vercel's privacy documentation, Web Analytics is designed without third-party tracking cookies. Network services and ordinary website requests may still process technical information required to deliver the site.
Public searches send the entered title or search terms to Watch Leaks application services. External artwork and media services may receive ordinary content requests; outbound links lead to websites with their own privacy practices.
Cookies and administrator access
Authorized administrators use a session cookie for secure access to private management functions. Browsing the public release-intelligence pages does not require an administrator session or a Watch Leaks account.
Other necessary browser or hosting state may support security, performance, and routine site operation.
My Watch Leaks saved-title collection
My Watch Leaks stores saved public titles, media types, identifiers, optional poster paths, and save times in this browser's local storage. No account is required, and the saved-title collection is not stored as a personal list on Watch Leaks servers.
To display new activity, the browser requests updates for up to ten saved public title IDs per batch. Visitors can remove individual titles or clear their collection directly in My Watch Leaks. Saved-title history, reading states, and release comparisons remain local to the browser.
Optional JSON export and import supports transferring saved titles between devices. This feature does not synchronize automatically across devices or browsers; clearing local browser data may also clear the collection. Exported files contain selected public title information rather than email addresses or alert preferences.
Email updates
When optional detection alerts are enabled, Watch Leaks processes the subscriber's email address, selected public movie and television titles, and consent status to deliver the requested notifications. Email ownership is confirmed before alerts begin, and the delivery service processes messages for this purpose. Weekly newsletters are not offered.
Subscription preferences and unsubscribe controls are available through email links. Unsubscribing stops email updates; it does not delete your locally saved collection. Subscriber addresses are not sold to advertisers.
Correspondence and information requests
Messages sent to watchleaks.contact@gmail.com are processed by the email service, including the sender's address and submitted content, to respond to commercial, editorial, rights, or privacy inquiries.
Hosting, analytics, email, and database providers may process information necessary to support the service, including processing outside the visitor's country. Different systems maintain different retention periods; Watch Leaks does not publish a single retention period covering every provider and record.
Requests concerning access, correction, or deletion of personal information may be directed to the official contact address and assessed under applicable requirements. This policy will be updated to reflect material changes to information practices.
